How is the 'winning' idea chosen?
A team of experts reviews all the proposals, and then puts the best ones to a public vote. Whoever has the most votes when voting closes gets the item.
Where do you get your things from that you give away?
Anywhere and everywhere. We find things, we clean out our closets, people send us stuff to give away.
I would like to send you something to give away on the site, how do I do this?
We currently have a long list of folks who want to send us stuff to give away, but we're always looking for more things! Please go to the Got Something to Give? page and follow the instructions.
What happens if somebody gets something and they don't do what they said they would?
If they made an attempt to fulfill their promise and failed spectacularly, that's cool. If they're just being lazy, we'll ridicule them publicly, etc.
Where do you send the items you have up for grabs?
We'll send stuff anywhere for the right idea.
Sweet, my idea got selected. I'll for sure do what I promised! But when I'm done do I have to send the item back?
You keep the item when you've done what you said you'll do...unless your promise was to give it to somebody else, of course.
